The 2012 Ford F-150 is a full-size pickup truck, and is offered with three different cabs (Regular, SuperCab, and SuperCrew) and two beds (standard or long). There are 2- and 4-door body styles.
Interior Features
The 2012 Ford F-150 offers seating for up to 6 passengers. Base models feature vinyl upholstery and minimal equipmentâjust air conditioning and an AM/FM audio system. Upgraded models are fitted with cloth or leather upholstery, full power accessories, cruise control, and infotainment systems.
Optional Features
Ford's Work Solutions option includes an in-dash computer with Internet access and other productivity features. The automaker also offers a sunroof, rear parking sensors, trailer brake controller, premium audio package, GPS-based navigation system, and more.

Ford F-150 models are fitted with one of four different engines. Base models feature a 3.7-liter V-6 engine rated at 302 horsepower. Optional engines include a 5.0-liter V-8 rated at 360 horsepower and a 6.2-liter V-8 rated at 411 horsepower. The newest engine is a turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 rated at 365 horsepower. Rear-wheel drive is standard, with 4-wheel drive optional.
