The 2012 Ford Edge offers seating for up to 5 passengers. Base Edge SE models feature cloth upholstery, air conditioning, full power accessories, cruise control, tilt-and-telescope steering wheel, and more. Under the Hood
Ford Edge models are fitted with three different engines. The standard model features a 3.5-liter V-6 engine rated at 285 horsepower, with an optional 2.0-liter 4-cylinder (new in 2012) rated at 240 horsepower. The Edge Sport features a 3.7-liter V-6 engine rated at 305 horsepower. All engines are mated to a standard 6-speed automatic transmission. Although front-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is optional on some 2012 Ford Edge models.
